Kate served in the MBA Admissions Office at Columbia Business School for over five years.
In her capacity as an Associate Director, Kate advised applicants daily and reviewed hundreds of applications per cycle. She was also an applicant interviewer, a liaison to other offices within the School, and a CBS representative at events around the world. Kate managed several recruiting and operational projects for the Admissions Committee.
After Columbia Business School, Kate transitioned into campus recruiting and training at Evercore, a leading independent advisory investment bank. Throughout her almost three years at Evercore, Kate managed analyst recruiting from top undergraduate institutions as well as assisted in the recruitment of post-MBA associates. She was also involved in lateral hiring and in developing the training programs at Evercore, both new-hire and continuing education.
Kate received her BA in Sociology from Harvard University and her MA in Higher Education Administration from Columbia University. She is a natural educator and coach; she has influenced career paths and advanced educational goals for thousands of people over the years.
